This book was a comprehensive compilation of all the half-blood prince information to date. That being said, if you are a big enough fanatic about the Harry Potter series to read a book about a book that doesn't even have a release date yet, then you probably know most of the information and miscellany in this book already.
However, there are some notable exceptions. The most notable is compelling evidence as to the identity of the half-blood prince. I had never encountered this information in all the half-blood prince perusing I had done previous, but it is contained within this book with authentic and convincing evidence. Really, it was one of those things I wish I could unread. So be aware that the spoiler warning at the beginning of this book is not in jest.
It is a complete compilation but obviously only for the Harry Potter obsessed since, as I mentioned, it is a book about a book that doesn't even have a release date. If you just can't get enough then I recommend this book. But if you're a fan but still a mentally stable fan...well, then you're probably not even reading this review, so nevermind.
